3rd Edition of the National Seminar on "Affordable Housing: Building an Inclusive Society for the 21st Century"
The Center for Law and Urban Development, in collaboration with the Centre for Tax Laws, successfully hosted the inaugural session of the 3rd edition of the National Seminar on "Affordable Housing: Building an Inclusive Society for the 21st Century." This seminar aims to bring together students and academicians to engage in discussions on the challenges and potential solutions within the housing sector. The inaugural session featured esteemed guests, including Prof (Dr) G S BAJPAI, Vice-Chancellor of NLU Delhi, and Prof Dr P S N Rao , Former Director of the School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event also welcomed Shri Arvind Kumar Gupta, Vice President of the NCLAT Bar Association, and Shri Pankaj Jain, Partner at Ernst & Young, as Guests of Honor. A highlight of the session was the launch of the Center’s monthly newsletter, 'अधीतम्: THE URBAN ARCHIVES,' marking a new initiative in academic discourse. Additionally, the book "Affordable Housing—Building an Inclusive Society for 21st Century India" was unveiled, offering valuable insights into the field.
